No Time Like The Present

To Practise Yoga

It's only when we start to understand that we all have a limited time on Earth, never knowing when it could end, that we recognize the present is all we really have and why it's so important to get work life balance in the moment. They don't call it the present for nothing, it is a gift. Living in the fast lane takes it's toll. Nowhere is faster paced than L.A. except perhaps NYC, perhaps is the reason why more people attend regular therapy in these cities than anywhere else in the US.

I believe that time therapy is not so much about managing time, but more about managing your life in order to find more time. So time therapy is about improving the quality and effectiveness of how you live your life. A calm mind and body in unison creates greater impact, so take up some yoga which will help bring a state of balance to your life.

A cool and calm mind is always envied and helps you remember things better, as it enhances your memory, blood circulation and improves the functioning of your body.

Every muscle in your body gets stretched to its maximum potential. Yoga helps tighten the abdominal muscles resulting in terrific toning of your abdomen. The action of breath control, doing something simple like a regular daily breathing exercise oxygenates you cells and actually makes you feel younger. The action of hanging from your hips and touching your toes (if you can) forces your heart to pump blood against gravity improving circulation and sitting with your legs apart opens you hips keeping you feeling flexible and young.

Doing a daily plank strengthens your back muscles giving you that perfect posture. Your biceps and triceps become toned due to the stress less strengthening of your muscles and with that comes a firmer looking body. Yoga is a great way to help you burn calories at the same time tone, adding extra height to your frame. The beauty of yoga is anyone can benefit from it at any age and at any level whether you practise once a day or once a week for a few minutes or longer.

The sagging muscle tissue will no longer drive you crazy as you become a positive and fabulous human being, so pick up a do it yourself yoga at home DVD from the local library and get that body you have always dreamed about.
